SINGLE DAY WORKSHOPS
Our single-day workshops are ideal for those curious about pottery but not ready to commit to a month-long class. Each month, we offer a range of workshops that focus on functional pieces like mugs, cups, gifts for your pets, planters, vases, and wall hangings. These sessions are a great way to explore pottery at your own pace and discover what you can create. *Glazing and firing is included. At the end of each workshop you’ll choose how you’d like your pieces glazed and we’ll take it from there.
After the workshop:
Once you’re work has dried completely it will go through it’s first firing to become bisque-ware. At this stage your pieces have increased porosity making the surface suitable for glazing.
Glazing:
We will glaze your pieces in the colors you have chosen. Your work will then go through it’s second fire - known as the final fire or glaze fire. Once complete, your pieces are ready for pickup!

How to prepare for the class.
Be sure to wear clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty. The first three classes we will be working with clay. When clay has dried on your clothing it is easy to dust off and comes of in the washer. During our last day in the studio we will be glazing our pieces. The ingredients in some of the glazes may stain your clothing. *We have aprons available in the studio
Picking up your pieces.
Once your pieces have been glazed they will be loaded into the kiln for their final firing. Your pieces will be available for pick up two weeks after the last day of class. Once fired, I will contact you via email/text (whichever you prefer) so we can schedule a time for your work to be picked up.
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your registration please contact me at least two weeks before the start date of the class or workshop. Once you have sent an inquiry and we have discussed set dates, please make sure to block all dates of the agreed upon sessions as they are fixed
Payment Policy.
At this time we only accept cash payments. Because our Month Long Classes are offered at a discounted rate, full payments are due the first day of classes.
Location.
The location will be provided upon registration as our studio is located in a private residence.
